Top Notes

The first impression of a fragrance, often light and fresh. These notes are usually citrusy, herbal, or fruity and evaporate quickly.

Examples: Bergamot, Lemon, Lavender & Mint​

Lasts: 5 -15 minutes

Middle Notes

Also known as the heart notes, form the core of the fragrance. They appear once the top notes fade and last longer. These fuller, more rounded scents give the perfume it's main character.

Examples: Rose, Jasmine, Cinnamon, Ylang-Ylang.

Lasts: 1-4 hours

Base Notes

Base notes provide the foundation and depth of a fragrance. These rich, heavy scents develop slowly and can last for several hours.
